For previous competitions, our two versions of the miniature f1 model car have been very divergent. In states, we were just developing a basic understanding of the CAD & CAM design tools using Autodesk Fusion 360 and Autodesk Flow design. The shape of our car and its components were very basic and our understanding of it wasn't as advanced. We applied what we learned from states to the design of our nationals car. Apart from the very obvious color change and the improvement of render quality, we also modified our car shape and other car components such as the 3D printed aerofoils. For both states and nationals, our car was qualified to race in the knockouts against many other teams in the development class.
